U.S. President Donald Trump warned Iran that American forces are prepared to launch new military strikes on the evening of Wednesday — one day after previous U.S. airstrikes in the region. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Turkey, Trump sent a stern message to Tehran, stating plainly: “I’ll give you a little warning: We will hit them hard tonight.”
The remark comes amid escalating regional tensions, raising concerns about further escalation in the conflict. In a follow-up comment, Trump added: “We will hit them again very hard — maybe even tonight.” However, he clarified that the U.S. does not seek regime change in Tehran. “I’m not looking for regime change. We don’t want them to acquire nuclear weapons,” he emphasized.
