US President Donald Trump stated today (June 24, 2025) that he does not want to see ‘regime change’ in Iran, arguing that such a move would lead to chaos. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One en route to The Hague and the NATO summit, Trump emphasized that Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons. He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin had contacted him by phone and offered assistance regarding Iran. On Sunday, June 22, 2025, the American president also announced plans to meet with Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the NATO summit.
