Highlighting his anti-migrant policy, which became a hallmark of his campaign, U.S. President Donald Trump urged via a post on Truth Social to “focus less on Putin and more on migrants who rape, traffic drugs, and kill.” He continued by saying that Americans should take action “so we don’t end up like Europe. We should spend less time worrying about Putin and more time dealing with migrant gangs who rape, drug lords, murderers, and mentally ill people entering our country – so we don’t end up like Europe!” This statement came just hours after the London summit on Ukraine and naturally carries its own significance. Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reportedly requested that the U.S. cybersecurity service suspend all activities related to Russia, including offensive actions, according to American media outlets. As reported by The New York Times, this suspension is part of a broader review of American activities concerning Russia, though its duration remains unknown. The Pentagon declined to comment on these reports, citing security reasons. “For Secretary Austin, there is no higher priority than the safety of those in combat across all operations, including cyberspace,” said a Pentagon official.
