Trump Advisor Paula White Claims Christians Must Visit Israel to Enter Heaven

The close relationship between the U.S. and Israel is well-known, but the recent remarks by Paula White, Donald Trump’s religious advisor, have taken these ties to another level. During a recent meeting between Paula White and Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, White stated that all Christians must visit Israel to gain entry into heaven. This claim sparked widespread controversy, especially as Christian communities in Palestinian territories are reportedly dwindling. In response to accusations of persecution against Palestinian Christians, Netanyahu dismissed them as ‘fake news.’ However, reports indicate increasing attacks on Christian churches and believers. For instance, the historic St. Porphyrius Church was bombed on October 19, 2023, killing 37 Palestinians, including 16 Christians. On December 16, two displaced Christian women were fatally shot near the Church of the Holy Family. Today, Christians make up less than 1% of the population in Palestinian lands.
