Truck Overturns on Athens-Corinth National Road Near Skaramangas

A serious traffic incident occurred shortly after 5:15 AM on the Athens-Corinth National Road near Skaramangas when a truck overturned. The flow of traffic towards Athens has been disrupted due to the truck lying perpendicular across the road, causing significant diversions. According to initial reports, for unknown reasons, the truck initially collided with the roadside barrier and was dragged for approximately 50 meters before tipping over. The truck, which was carrying horticultural produce, had its driver sustain minor injuries, leading to a precautionary transfer to the hospital.
