Trikala: 40-Year-Old Father of Three Dies in Motorcycle Accident

A 40-year-old resident of Trikala, who was driving a motorcycle, passed away after sustaining severe injuries on Wednesday (14/5/25) near the Gate Road. According to trikalaopinion.gr, the victim was a firefighter and leaves behind three minor children. Doctors at the hospital in Trikala made significant efforts to save his life, but unfortunately, the injuries from the accident were too severe. The tragic incident occurred Wednesday afternoon when the unfortunate motorcyclist collided with a metal barrier while attempting to avoid a woman on a bicycle. The woman was moving in the same uphill direction and tried to turn left toward the DEUAT bus stop.
