A tragic end unfolded for 43-year-old Spyros Sevvas, who was found deceased on Thursday afternoon (01/05/2025) in the basement of his home in Keratsini. Specifically, he was discovered hanging in a storage area with a note beside him that read, ‘I love you, forgive me for everything.’ Questions and contradictions have arisen regarding where the 43-year-old had been during the past days. His brother, who resides in Peristeri, mentioned visiting the basement but couldn’t locate him due to lacking keys to access the storage room. In an interview with Live News, the brother explained that while he had descended into the basement, he didn’t have the necessary keys to enter the locked storage area. ‘On Monday, when we were searching for my brother, I went down to the storages. It was cold those days, so I thought maybe my brother was inside one of them to avoid freezing outside,’ he recounted. However, without the keys, he couldn’t inspect inside the storages. Legal counsel Anastasios Doukas stated that no loans or financial burdens were found under Spyros’s name, and they are still investigating what led to this devastating act. Prior to his disappearance, Spyros had visited the ‘Georgios Gennimatas’ hospital with his father-in-law for a scheduled shoulder surgery consultation. Following a brief walk near Drapetsona, they returned home to Keratsini, marking the last known whereabouts before his disappearance. Psychological stress from work and health issues seem to have contributed significantly to his mental state.
