Tragic Death of an 18-Year-Old in Thessaloniki’s Anchialos

A tragic incident unfolded on the morning of March 25th, when an 18-year-old from Anchialos, Thessaloniki, was found deceased by his parents. The young man had taken his own life by hanging inside the family home. His parents had left to watch a local parade earlier that day and returned to find their son lifeless, suspended by a scarf. Despite immediate notification of EKAB (Emergency Medical Services), rescue teams were unable to provide any assistance upon arrival. Devastated, the parents also alerted the police, who are now investigating the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking event.
