Tragic Car Accident in Pella: 21-Year-Old Dies After Vehicle Leaves Road

A tragic car accident claimed the life of a 21-year-old on Sunday afternoon (May 4, 2025) near Polycarpio in Almopia, Pella. According to initial reports, the vehicle driven by the young man veered off the road and landed outside the highway. The driver, originally from Albania, succumbed to his injuries, as reported by aridaianews.gr. Witnesses stated that another motorist traveling along the same road immediately called for an ambulance, which arrived at the scene. However, the unfortunate 21-year-old was already unconscious. A preliminary investigation into the accident is being conducted by the Almopia police department.
