From October, the provocative and fast-paced play takes over the Philip Theatre, starring acclaimed actress Fotini Baxevani as Jocasta Papadamou—the sharp-tongued, perfectionist matriarch preparing an elaborate family dinner to welcome her son home from England. But nothing goes according to plan.
Minutes before the guests sit down, the neighbourhood’s top manicurist is found dead. And that’s just the beginning.
Family misunderstandings, unexpected romances, buried secrets, uninvited ghosts, and a cascade of jaw-dropping revelations turn the evening into a whirlwind comic adventure. A bold, contemporary pop comedy brimming with laughter, mystery, and relentless surprises, it wittily skewers the obsessions and contradictions of modern life.
