in

A highly spring-like weather is expected for tomorrow, Monday (19.05.25), with temperatures reaching up to 28°C Celsius. Any showers are anticipated to be localized and mainly confined to the mountainous areas of Epirus. According to the National Meteorological Service (EMY), the weather is generally predicted to be clear across most parts of the country, with only a few local clouds forecasted over northern Ionian regions. In the afternoon, temporary cloud formations may develop in central and northern continental areas, where localized rainfalls are possible, especially in the mountains of Epirus. Visibility during the evening hours will be locally restricted in western areas. Winds will blow from westerly directions at 3 to 5 Beaufort, with local gusts reaching 6 Beaufort in southern seas. A slight temperature increase is expected, with most regions seeing temperatures between 24-25°C, Crete experiencing 26-27°C, and eastern continental areas reaching up to 28°C. Specifically, Attica will experience generally clear skies with winds from westerly directions at 3-4 Beaufort and temperatures ranging from 16°C to 28°C. Thessaloniki will also see mostly clear skies with variable winds at 2-3 Beaufort, increasing to southerly directions at 4 Beaufort during midday and afternoon, with temperatures from 13°C to 25°C. Macedonia and Thrace will encounter generally clear conditions but with temporary clouds during midday and afternoon hours, particularly in the mountains where localized showers might occur. The rest of the regions, including Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, and Western Peloponnese, will remain mostly clear with occasional clouds in northern continental areas during the afternoon, potentially leading to localized showers in Epirus’ mountains.
