Thriller in Thessaloniki: Body Washes Ashore at Cruise Ship Arrival Area

A man’s body was found in the waters of the Thermaikos Gulf, specifically at the port near the cruise ship arrival area on Saturday evening (26/04/2025). According to initial reports from thesstoday, the remains of the unfortunate man were first spotted in the sea near the intersection of Nikis Avenue and Agias Sophias Street in Thessaloniki but were carried by the currents to the harbor area. The victim is estimated to be around 50-55 years old. An EKAB ambulance transported the remains to the AHEPA Hospital for further investigation.
