Thriller in Shelley Imathias: No sign of 18-year-old skier – The last location of his cell phone

Investigations at Shelly continue at an intensive pace to identify the 18-year-old missing since yesterday Monday (6.1.224) from the center in the area. The 18-year-old along with his company had visited Shelly Imathias, Theophania, while he announced an alarm when the young man did not return during the close of the ski resort to the parking lot they had given an appointment. CORVERSE Rescue teams with drones and special dogs reached the point and all night they swept the ski center in Imathia, without yet having managed to locate the 18-year-old so far. Hopes are now rekindling, as relatives and friends expect that with the first light of day and the intensification of investigations a trace of it will be found. The ski center manager, Lakis Meliopoulos, speaking in the First Program, that there is optimism, as they hope that the child may be somewhere injured, while in the evening there were no particularly low temperatures and the thermometer did not fall below -1 degrees Celsius. CORVERSE President Katos Vermiou, George Farsaros, speaking at newssit.gr noted: “We hope to find the child and have a happy ending. EMAC is upstairs right now and has picked up thermal cameras but so far no trace has been found. We hope that with the first light to intensify investigations and to have a result.” He noted that the family has been waiting since Monday at the point and explained that the last signal from his phone was at noon: “The last stigma of his cell phone was at 2 p.m. yesterday, but unfortunately his company stated it after 5:30 p.m. and valuable time was lost. This was because the children believed he would come sometime alone, but when he was late then they were worried.” As the President of Kato Vermios, George Farsaros said: “We are here at the base of the ski at 1500 meters. It’s the EMAK here that has attempted thermal camera, there are volunteer snowroads, residents of the Selio who know the mountain well and employees from the ski and are all operating but we still have no trace. His company still remains here and is the brother of the missing person.” According to thestoday.gr, the EMAK Talos dog that had gone along with the Greek mission in Turkey, following the devastating earthquake, is also involved in the investigations. Now, the specially trained Belgian shepherd, helps with the research carried out in Shelley for the 18-year-old, while from the air he also attempts drone. The company arrived from Thessaloniki on Monday morning in Shelly. The day, as the company members described, was very good and sunny without air and fog. The 18-year-old snowboarder was removed from his company. In the afternoon the group prepared to return and then found that the 18 – year – old was not with them.
