Critical hours for a 17-year-old in Rodopi, who was pulled unconscious from the beach of Arogi early Sunday morning (28.06.2026). The teenager had been swimming at Arogi Beach in Rodopi when, under circumstances still unknown, he lost consciousness.
Emergency Response
A lifeguard on duty managed to restore his pulse before paramedics arrived. According to ERT, the young man was then transferred by EKAB ambulance to the Sismanoglou General Hospital in Komotini, where he is currently intubated and receiving intensive care.
Transfer Planned
He is expected to be transferred later today to the University General Hospital of Alexandroupoli. Although his condition has stabilized, it remains critical.
