Strong winds blowing up to 9 Beauforts in the Aegean, forced authorities to cancel three morning passenger ferry routes from where they were scheduled for Wednesday morning (05.02.2025). Specifically, the scheduled route from the port of Piraeus, the ship Blue star 1 at 7:35 for Paros – Naxos – Ios – Thera and the passenger ferry Fast Ferries at 7:30 in the morning for Syros – Tinos – Mykonos. The third route cancelled is that of the passenger ferry “Dionysios Solomos” scheduled at 14:15 for Serifos – Sifnos – Milos – Folegandros – Sikino – Ios and Thira. Winds in the Aegean are blowing up to 8 Beauforts while in Carpathian as 9 Beauforts. As regards the routes to Argosaronicos from the port of Piraeus and from the ports of Rafina and Lavrio, these will be done normally. The port advises passengers who are to travel today, to first contact the ports of their area or tourist agencies for any changes or modification of routes that may occur due to weather conditions.
