Three Burn Victims from North Macedonia Fire Transferred to Papageorgiou Hospital

Following a request from North Macedonia, three severely burned victims of the tragic fire at a nightclub in Kotsani have been transferred to Greece’s Papageorgiou Hospital in Thessaloniki. The devastating fire claimed the lives of at least 59 individuals and left hundreds injured. According to diplomatic sources, an official request was made to the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the transfer of these critically injured patients. So far, numerous injuries have been reported as a result of the fire at the entertainment center. The transfer process is currently underway, facilitated by neighboring country ambulances, following coordination through the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Reports indicate that these are not minor cases, and Papageorgiou Hospital is on full alert, prepared to receive and treat all necessary patients.
