This is the deepest underground lake in the world

New world record water depth of 404 meters in a cave in the Czech republic…
A cave in the Czech republic, the Χράνικα Πρόπαστ, is flooded with water to a depth that reaches 404 feet, more than any other which has been discovered in the world, while it is not excluded that the depth of the water to be even bigger.
In progress is the exploration of the cave by Polish and Czech σπηλαιοκαταδύτες with the help of a unmanned underwater robot (ROV), as well as depths below 400 meters is beyond the limits of σπηλαιοκατάδυσης of man.
So far, the depth of the water in the Czech cave is 12 meters greater than the previous record holder, the cave Πότσο del Part in Italy (water depth 392 meters).
The discovery, near the town of Χράνιτσε of the eastern Czech republic, was from the Polish σπηλαιοκαταδύτη Christophe Σταρνάφσκι, who said -with some exaggeration – that he felt “the Columbus of the 21st century”.
For the first time the Σταρνάφσκι was inside the limestone cave in 1999 and since then is constantly exploring. The diving depth record was made on 27 September, with the financial support of the National Geographic, which published and achievement.
The cavers found at the bottom of the cave, fallen trees, logs and branches, an indication that the morphology of the cave has changed over the course of time, as today it is impossible to drop something that big from the entrance.
Speleologists consider it almost certain that the cave has greater depth and is based on the robots to go even more deep in the future.
