Thieves Terrorize Elderly Couple in Porto Rafti Home Invasion

In a horrifying incident, an elderly couple living in a single-family home in Porto Rafti was subjected to a terrifying ordeal at the hands of armed robbers. According to ertnews.gr, the intruders, wielding knives and clubs, broke into the residence located on Pelasgon Street during the night of March 11th. The 75-year-old homeowner and his wife were overpowered and restrained by the assailants. Subsequently, the victims were bound, had hoods placed over their heads, and eventually gagged with duct tape. While ransacking the house, the thieves made off with cash, jewelry, and bank cards before fleeing the scene, leaving the elderly couple tied up. After approximately 20 minutes, the couple managed to free themselves and alerted the police. As reported by the victims, the attackers wore full-face masks, dark clothing, gloves, and were of medium build, making identification challenging.
