The program of the 12th Festival of Thessalians of Europe was enriched with the special ceremony of the honorary distinction and the award of the Thessalians clergy serving the Orthodox Church in Europe and were honoured by the Federation for the preservation and cultivation of an orthodox ecclesiastical opinion of the diaspora.
The Federation honored the Thessalians priests highlighting the work and contribution of the Church to maintain customs and traditions and, generally, the preservation of the Greek consciousness, through participation in the life of the parish.

The event was attended by the pis. ΜαλαμοÏσης Apostle, p. ΤσουÏλής Sotirios, e. Manolis Ioannis and such. ΤσόμπÏας Dimitrios, who excited received the honors, which have given to the Thessalians their countrymen in expressing and they, in turn, their gratitude.
The other Thessalians priests were not able to attend either because of sickness, or because of other commitments in the parishes (weddings, christenings etc.p.), they couldn’t postpone.
The e. Apostle ΜαλαμοÏσης thanked the Federation for the honorable and highly symbolic and with multiple messages this ceremony, ven. Metropolitan of Germany mr. Augustine for the inspiring structures and συμβουλá¼Ï‚, on which is based the church’s offer of the Thessalians priests, and all the Thessalians, who serve voluntarily and αφιλόκεÏδα the work of the Holy Metropolis of Germany, as members of ecclesiastical Committees and of the Orthodox Ministry.
The e. Dimitrios ΤσόμπÏας stressed how important the semantics of such events, the message they carry and the fact that it is a recognition of the work of our church. The e. Dimitrios ΤσόμπÏας found from the first moment of the life and action of the Thessalian Association of Μπήλεφελντ at his side, after επευλόγησε the founding of the assembly, (in front of thirty years ago) and since then it remains a valued supporter and advisor to the project.
The e. Sotirios ΤσουÏλής referred to the priesthood in general and the fact that his family offers priests in the society, since his father is a clergyman in Greece and his brother is also a clergyman in America.
The e. John Manolis outlined the priestly career, expressing, with great emotion, his gratitude to him for. Apostle ΜαλαμοÏση for substantial intervention in the decision to become a cleric.
The ceremony was attended by Consul General of the Consulate General Düsseldorf, mr Gregory ΔελαβÎκουÏας, the president of the Federation of Thessalian Associations in Europe, mr Diamantis Gikas and all the members of the BOARD of directors of the Federation, as well as the presidency of the Thessalian Associations that took part in the Festival.
The greeting, the blessing and thanks of his Eminence Metropolitan of Germany mr. Augustine moved the vicar of the Parish of Bielefeld, Archpriest Dimitrios ΤσόμπÏας.
