Thessaloniki: Young Doctor’s Life Turned Into a Nightmare by Stalker Patient

Fear and anxiety became the reality for a young doctor in Thessaloniki. The 40-year-old stalker, who was one of her patients, persistently followed and harassed her online. According to Voria.gr, from autumn until December 2024, the 40-year-old stalker turned the life of the doctor into a living nightmare. In addition to stalking, he created fake social media profiles to harass her further. The 40-year-old stalker was sentenced by the Single-Member Court of Misdemeanors in Thessaloniki to four years in prison with a three-year suspension for slanderous defamation and violation of a court order. In November 2024, he failed to comply with security measures imposed on him and was arrested. On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, he did not appear in court and was represented by a lawyer, who denied the charges. The court decided that the sentence of the 40-year-old stalker should not be suspended, meaning that once located, he will have to serve his sentence. Reports indicate that other women have also filed complaints against him.
