Thessaloniki: They raped 23 years old and posted videos online – Two arrests

Three men are accused of raping and robbing a 23-year-old in while uploading videos from him online. Police reportedly identified and arrested two of the people reportedly involved in the rape of the young man in Thessaloniki. These are two foreigners, aged 43 and 33, who were arrested for rape, robbery and violation of the Act on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. He had preceded the 23-year-old’s complaint, according to which the two men, along with their accomplice, on Friday night (13.9.2024), using force, forced him to enter a ground floor apartment in Menemeni, where, against his will, they committed successive acts against him, which they filmed and posted online. They then removed a mobile phone, bank card, wristwatch, a portable computer and money. The 23-year-old was taken to a city hospital for examination by a coroner, while all necessary actions were taken to send evidence to the Criminal Investigation Division for laboratory tests.
