Thessaloniki: The ‘Mastermind’ of the Far-Right Group Behind Bars – Recruiter Freed on Conditions

This morning (May 13, 2025), two key figures of a far-right organization that spread fear across the streets for at least five years appeared before an investigating magistrate in Thessaloniki. After their hearing at the 1st Tactical Investigating Judge of Thessaloniki, the ‘mastermind’ behind the group was ordered to be placed in pre-trial detention. Meanwhile, the ‘recruiter’ was released under strict conditions. According to thessstoday.gr, the recruiter must report regularly to a local police station and is banned from leaving the country. Additionally, they were fined €3,000. This marks the second pre-trial detention in this case involving the ‘mastermind’.
