Thessaloniki: In a psychiatric clinic the 35-year-old who burned alive 77-year-old – Criminal prosecution for manslaughter with deceit and arson

In the psychiatric hospital of Papageorgiou Hospital, the 35-year-old, who was arrested in charge of the crime in New Machine, is treated as a victim during a fire-fighting on Sunday morning (2.2.25). Due to his hospitalization – which was decided by a prosecutor – his transfer to court was not made, however the case was submitted to the City Court of Thessaloniki and he was charged with manslaughter with deceit and arson with intent, acts for which the 35-year-old will be asked to apologize in the next 24 hours. CORVERSE Prerogatively the 35-year-old reportedly confessed to his act, while reporting that he knew the victim and was recently performing some work at the trailer house. In fact, the research carried out by the Division for Combating Organized Crime in Northern Greece revealed that the 77-year-old had reported a 24-hour-old early 35-year-old for stealing a bank card and some tools. For this reason, the defendant was called upon to apologize (out of self) to the competent police service. CORVERSE The crime, according to the case-file, was committed yesterday (at 3.20 a.m.), when the professed offender rode his motorcycle into the victim’s house (in a parcel). An argument ensued between them, during which the 35-year-old reportedly hit the elderly with a wood in the neck, resulting in his losing balance and crashing upon a divanobalo. Then, the 35-year-old reportedly surrounded the area with alcohol, causing a fire lighter that burned down the 77-year-old. From the crime scene, the authorities collected a cell phone, which was found to belong to the 35-year-old and appears to have dropped it during his escape, and a print was also detected from the motorcycle wheel that he was driving.
