Five individuals have been arrested in connection with vandalism involving spray paint on the wall of the French Institute in Thessaloniki. The incident occurred on May 6, 2025, when a police officer witnessed unknown individuals defacing the property and alerted Immediate Action units. Charges were filed against the five arrested individuals (four men and one woman, aged 21 to 30) for unauthorized damage to foreign property, conspiracy, and defiance. Authorities are still searching for two additional suspects linked to the same case.
