The blaze affected two minors from the family—a 14-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl—who suffered burns and were transferred to the Hippocrates Hospital for treatment. Despite the prompt arrival of six firefighters with two vehicles to control the flames, the fire managed to completely destroy one room of the residence before being extinguished. As of now, the cause of the fire remains unconfirmed, and an investigation is underway to determine its origin.
