Police in Thessaloniki arrested a 37-year-old woman on the evening of Tuesday, 23 June 2026, after she was found sitting intoxicated on a sidewalk with her 8-year-old daughter in the Neapoli district.
Officers responding to the scene reported that the woman appeared visibly disoriented due to alcohol consumption. She was accompanying her minor child at the time — raising serious concerns about the child’s safety and welfare.
Authorities charged her with endangering a minor, citing her impaired condition as a direct risk to her daughter. A criminal file has been opened against her under this charge.
