A 17-year-old teenager accused of causing grievous bodily harm to a 42-year-old KTEL bus driver during an alleged attack while the driver was on duty in Langada has been released. The minor will stand trial at the Single-Member Juvenile Court of Thessaloniki in June. Despite denying the allegations made by the bus driver, the juvenile was let go. Meanwhile, the injured bus driver remains hospitalized in Kilkis with trauma from the incident. Interestingly, police forces are also present at the hospital as the juvenile filed a counter-complaint against the driver for alleged physical provocation. According to reports, the altercation began when the teenager told the driver to drive slower next time, leading to a heated exchange that escalated into violence. The 42-year-old driver reportedly fell and sustained injuries to his right side of the head and shoulder. The juvenile claimed he acted in self-defense.
