These are the countries that travelers are likely to go out of budget at their expense.

The first step before we close, defining the destination we want to visit, is to calculate the money we are going to spend on tickets, accommodation, food and entertainment. And in order not to escape our monthly income, emptying our bank account, we must pay attention to our expenses in order to enjoy our vacations. However, in a relevant study it was found that two out of three British spend more money than the amount originally calculated for their vacation. In fact, the travel company Good Travel Management made a list of countries that UK travelers are more likely to spend more money than their original design. This is despite the fact that several families continue to be plagued by the high cost of living, coupled with the large increase recorded in debt settlement applications. What is the European country that travelers spend more money on? Good Travel Management found that Finland is the country, where British travelers are more likely to spend 55 euros averaged more money than their budget. Tourists usually estimate that they will spend EUR 124 a day in Finland, but in fact they are more likely to spend EUR 178 on an average daily basis. This means that travelers spend 379 euros more than expected for a whole week of stay in Finland. The enchanting Northern Lights, ski trails, and the stay in Rovianemi, which is the village of Santa Claus in Laponia attract thousands of travelers, making Finland a particularly popular winter destination. After all, Finland remains at the top of the list of the happiest countries in the world for the sixth consecutive year. However, the cost for food, tickets and accommodation is too high. It’s a special sensation for elevated alcohol prices. The country has the third most expensive beers in the world, since a glass of 500 ml of beer costs around 7 euros. In other words, alcohol prices in Finland are 102% above the European Union average. In which other countries are travelers likely to go out of budget In second place is Mexico, with UK travelers paying an average of 127 euros a day to visit the amazing beaches and explore the country’s rich culture, an increase of 45% from the average daily budget. Mexico is often known as an economic destination, which is why several British travelers are more likely to get out of control in their spending. In fact, travel to Mexico has become more expensive, in part, because of the strengthening of the country’s currency (Mexico peso), which has been ejected by 16% against the US dollar in recent years. The rise in peso, combined with increased investments in the country’s luxury tourism, contributed to higher costs for tourists. Egypt is in third place. Although the daily budget for Egypt is particularly low (just 25 euros), travelers are expected to spend up to twice as much. Which is obviously due to the rise in inflation in the country. Norway (€41 above the budget) and Japan (40 euros above the budget) complement the five countries where British tourists are likely to make excessive spending in relation to the money they had estimated to spend. In which countries travellers spend minimum amounts On the contrary, Barbados is at the top of destinations, where tourists spend less money than their original budget. The British forecast 233 euros per day on average, the highest amount of all countries in the study concerned, but in fact they only spend 142 euros per day. Besides, Barbados offers a number of affordable financial solutions for meals in local restaurants serving delicious Bajan cuisine, as well as accommodation in middle class accommodation. In second place is Hong Kong, with UK travelers spending EUR 79 a day less than the expected daily budget of EUR 130. Although Hong Kong is famous for its luxurious restaurants and shops it also has several sights with free access.
