Theodora Tzakri spoke this morning (28 June 2026) on Open radio about the podcast interview Stefanos Kasselakis conducted with Adonis Georgiadis. She stated clearly: “I was not consulted, and I do not agree with it.”
Georgiadis Responds with Satire
In response, Adonis Georgiadis — Greece’s Minister of Health and former New Democracy MP — posted a satirical comment online addressing speculation about Tzakri’s possible return to PASOK. Referring to her as “such a gem”, he quipped that the party wouldn’t want to lose her.
Georgiadis also defended his appearance on Kasselakis’ podcast, saying: “That discussion went exceptionally well, and I believe it highlighted a political culture we truly need.”
A Lengthy, Pointed Post
In a longer social media post, Georgiadis recounted Tzakri’s political trajectory — from leaving PASOK during its most difficult period (criticising it as ‘concessionary’ toward creditors), joining SYRIZA under Alexis Tsipras on anti-austerity grounds, later voting in favour of all three bailout memoranda, then departing SYRIZA to become deputy leader of Kasselakis’ movement. He added that she would have switched again — this time to Nikos Androulakis’ camp — had the party’s statute not imposed term limits for MPs, a rule now reportedly under review to allow her re-entry into PASOK.
He concluded with irony: “I’m puzzled by the mindset at PASOK — and how quickly they forget…”
