Thempy: Candles and banners for ‘justice’ in a Prague demonstration

A protest gathering took place in Prague commemorating the reasons behind the tragedy in Thempy, marking the second ‘black’ anniversary of the train accident. Greek visitors to Prague, along with residents of the Czech capital, gathered late Friday afternoon (February 28, 2025) to honor the memory of the 57 victims in Thempy. The attendees conveyed their message with slogans such as “NE MAM KYSLIK (I HAVE NO OXYGEN)” and “This crime will not be covered up; we will be the voice of all the victims.”
