During a period of normality it seems that Greece is entering Greece, as the drought that prevailed for months in the country seems to give way to extensive and storms over the next few days. The main feature of the weather will be the rains that will initially affect western Greece, then the north and eastern Aegean and finally in several other regions of the country, so bad weather is called ‘type P weather’. According to Clearchos Marousakis’s prognosis, the southwards will dominate land and sea reaching local and storm levels carrying African dust to the south and emphasising the region of Crete. Bad weather will strike with two atmospheric disturbances: Wednesday – Thursday and then Friday – Saturday and will bring rains, storms, strong southwards, snow on the mountain and dust from Africa. As George Tsatrafyllias says, the areas that will accept the highest levels of rain will be western, northern Greece and eastern Aegean. Snows due to high temperatures will be confined to the mountains of northern Greece. It will also be important to strengthen the western and southwestern winds that reach 7-8 Beauforts in the stogies. However, the temperature will be found 3 to 4 degrees above normal levels for the season.
