The squares of the stars return, with Emerald Karydi in the “timoni” and invited Maria Aliferi

Renewed, with great joy and twists, “The squares of the stars” return to , with the presentation. This is the legendary 80s game show that was loved as little. Smaragda Karydi takes over the presentation and takes the baton from its first presenter, Maria Aliferi . ADVERSE 45 years later, “The squares of the stars” premiere on ERT1, on Monday 6 January 2025 , at 20:45 . The favorite game show will be broadcast every Saturday , at 20:45 , from Saturday 11 January 2025. On the side of Emerald Karydi will be guests, from the artistic – and not only – scene, who will switch to the 9-block positions and try to mislead players with their answers. Every week, two new players will claim up to 10,000 euros in 5 rounds of questions, which will be subversive, while a live band will musically intersect the game show, under the direction of Theodore Dharma. Episode 1 “The squares of stars” premiere with a charity episode, whose proceeds will be allocated for the participation of a 20-member mission at the World Winter Games Special Olympics “Turin 2025”, to be held 8-16 March 2025. Cleopatra Eleftheriadou and Iro, for once, will take the place of contestants, while the squares will be filled by Thoris Atherides, Antonis Loudaros, Elizabeth Constantine, Katerina Geronikolou, Giannis Aivazis, Lena Papaligura, Antinoos Albanis and Danai Loukakis. Maria Aliferi, who will deliver the baton to Smaragda Karydi and together will remember unforgettable moments from the first shows of the “Tetragons” in the 1980s. With questions inspired by the festive climate – and not only – and festive musicians from the show band, “The squares of the stars” aspire to keep you company and entertain you.
