‘The Ritual’: Official Trailer Released Featuring Al Pacino and Dan Stevens

In the film titled ‘The Ritual’ (The Ceremony), renowned actor Al Pacino stars as a Catholic priest with a dark past, alongside Dan Stevens, who also plays a priest. XYZ Films has released the first trailer for the new horror thriller ‘The Ritual,’ based on the true story of Emma Smith, one of the most infamous exorcism cases in American history. Al Pacino plays Father Theophilus Riesinger, a priest with a shadowy past, while Dan Stevens portrays Father Joseph Steiger, who questions his faith. According to the synopsis, the movie follows two priests trying to overcome their differences to save the soul of a young woman through a challenging and dangerous series of exorcisms. Supporting actors include Asley格林, Abigail Cowen, and Patricia Heaton. For years, Smith experienced terrifying episodes, rejection of sacred objects, and other inexplicable issues that were documented. After extensive psychiatric treatments, a 72-hour exorcism was performed at a monastery. Directed by David Middel, who co-wrote the script with Enrique Natalé according to Dark Horizons, ‘The Ritual’ is set to hit U.S. theaters on June 6.
