The protection of Roula Pispiringu is extended for 6 months

The prosecutor stressed that for another six months the detention of the accused Rula Pispiringu should be extended, noting that there are serious evidence of guilt and that the defendant is suspected of new acts. “It is brought to act with great cruelty and methodicity and there is a risk that new offences will be committed, that temporary detention for another six months until 30/9/2024,” the prosecutor said. For her part, Roula Pispiringu’s defense objected that temporary detention should be lifted. The trial will continue with the testimony of Manos Daskalakis, who is the first witness in the trial.
