The needs of the educational environment are constantly changing, leading to a review of how to learn and teach. Criticism, technologies, teamwork and experiential knowledge through applied arts and sciences are some of the tools used for students and students to learn, as active perpetrators rather than passive receivers. Artificial Intelligence (AI), technology, science and the digital world unquestionably state the present in every area of our lives, let alone in our own schools. In our country, learning in Primary and Secondary Education can only be adapted to these cutting-edge educational tools. But how sure does one/one teacher feel today in front of them? How can one teach and share knowledge when he is embarrassed in modern technological reality? In the above questions, the answer lies within the concept of lifelong learning. The Vodafone Foundation with its , Digital Skill Development Program STEAM, which offers free access for everyone to new technologies and science, begins the 3rd free course for active teachers , which is implemented under the scientific supervision of the Hellenic Open University (EAP). Teachers who deeply love their function know very well that knowledge comes through a dynamic learning process, which cultivates curiosity, claims inclusion and, furthermore, can adapt to new data. Within the framework of the Education Program (EPS) in Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) of Generation Next from the Vodafone Foundation, interested/interested professors/teachers can freely upgrade their digital skills and knowledge and the educational tools they already possess, strengthening their confidence and flexibility- forces necessary for those who wish to stay up-to-date and active in modern reality. Thanks to the content of the Vodafone Foundation’s Educational Programme of Studies as part of Generation Next, participants will become familiar with today’s educational trends and gain the confidence needed to inspire, as teachers of the future, another type of learning process that will transform the alien education of memory into an enlightening educational experience of meaningful thought and action. After the completion of the Vodafone Foundation’s Educational Program, the trainees will receive a “Education Certificate” and a “Education Certificate Annex”, having broadened their horizons and substantially enriched their educational arsenal. It is no accident that so far, more than 800 teachers from schools throughout Greece have participated in a total of 13 weeks (130 hours) Vodafone Foundation Educational Program, with 35% of the trainees successfully completing the courses, receiving certification as well as 5.2 ECTS academic units. So if we accept that lifelong learning and education are the root for any change and development, then we can safely say that these figures are particularly optimistic. The educational material provided is jointly designed with the Laboratory of Mobile and Dissemination Computing, Quality and Limited Intelligence of the EAP (DAISSy), the Educational Nonprofit Organization Science Communication – Science Communication (SciCo) and the Department of Research and Development of the Hellenic German Education (EIA), as part of the Generation Next Programme of the Vodafone Foundation. The purpose is common: through innovative approaches, participating teachers should be armed with modern educational tools so that they can actually guide their students to supply them with the necessary digital, horizontal and green skills to meet the challenges of the time and evolve into modern citizens and professionals. We live in a time of constant change feeling daily that our rhythms do not stop accelerating. We have two alternatives: we can either stay static observers in front of this storm of developments, or we can also become part of the changes. Learning was, is and will be, the greatest vehicle in this direction. Something the Vodafone Foundation knows well and pronounces generously. So when with a simple one you can become an educator of the future, is there really something that can stop you?
