Syngrou estate, was attended by the Mayor of Amaroussion mr Giorgos Patoulis with members of the Administration.
Cub scouts, boy scouts, scouts and non-coms of the System, as well as parents and friends of scouting met the established event, exchanging wishes for a creative new year.
The Mayor of Amaroussion mr Giorgos Patoulis congratulated the scouts and their Leader, mr. John ΓεωÏγόπουλο for their voluntary contribution and the actions accomplished during the previous scout period, noting that “volunteerism and protecting the environment go together,” while he added that “the Municipality of Maroussi will continue to be a conduit to the work of the 2nd System for the benefit of the local community”.
The Head of the System, mr. Giannis Georgopoulos, made a brief presentation of major scout activity for the period 2015-2016 and developed the objectives of the System for the new period.
The event was also attended by the deputy Mayor Spiros ΣταθοÏλης, and the aldermen Athanasios Βλαχοπιώτης, Dimitris Karlaftis and Efthimios Tsigkas.
