a team of divers in the Biological Station of Moscow State University makes scuba diving in difficult conditions in the icy waters of the White Sea in the south of the Arctic Circle to capture rarely seen creatures of the sea. From giant jellyfish up to tiny worms of the sea, the photographer captures species that do not exist elsewhere on earth.

It is estimated that almost 80% of the total aquatic life on the world’s oceans has not yet been studied or discovered. The Semenov in this context prepares an ambitious journey to the oceans of the world for 2016. The Aquatilis Expedition is a proposed route that will make divers, scientists and cameramen in various locations around the world to identify new species, and an Odyssey on a par with the adventures of Jacques Cousteau.
