The Mitsotakis – Erdogan meeting in New York

All developments around today’s meeting on Tuesday (24/09/2024) the Prime Minister and President of Turkey in New York on the margins of the UN General Assembly. At the heart of the meeting, progress in Greek-Turkish relations, developments in migration, conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East are expected, but the Cyprus problem. Kyriakos Mitsotakis attends this sixth meeting, during the last 15 months, with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, given both the government’s standing positions and the “red lines”, but a practical willingness to continue the dialogue and promote the issues of so-called soft diplomacy.
