An unexpected departure is set to shake up the lives of the heroes in the dramatic series on MEGA, as Christos decides to permanently relocate abroad. In upcoming episodes of ‘The Land of Olive,’ the younger brother of Lykourgos, after his separation from Paulina, plans to move to Canada, where his ex-wife resides, in an attempt to give their relationship a second chance, leaving Mani behind for good. Indeed, Christos, portrayed by Vasilis Michas, will announce his intention to leave permanently for Canada to Ariadne after successfully selling his business in Areopoli. This move prompts Ariadne to see it as a great opportunity for her own professional growth, as she considers buying the tavern where she works as a waitress. However, she doesn’t know how to achieve this since she lacks the necessary funds. It’s worth noting that Michas’ role concludes this year, specifically in May, while the successful series continues with a fifth season. In a recent interview on ERT1’s ‘Studio 4,’ Vasilis Michas revealed that it was his personal desire to leave the show. As for his next professional step, he will return to TV, starring in the second season of Giorgos Kapoutzidis’ comedic series ‘Serres.’ This collaboration was confirmed recently during an appearance on ‘The 2Night Show’ with Gregoris Arnaoutoglou.
