The good fats reduce deaths from heart disease

Encouraging people to consume good fats, such as those… found in olive oil and fish, could prevent more than 1 million deaths worldwide each year, according to a new study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association.
The number of deaths from heart disease due to the lack of intake of good λιπαρώνείναι almost 3 times greater than the number of deaths due to excessive consumption of saturated fats found in meat, dairy, palm oil, coconut oil etc. This, at least, says the head of the study, Dr. Dariush Mozaffarian, of Tufts University in Boston.
In the context of the study, the researchers studied the data on diet and mortality rates from heart problems in 186 countries in 2010. According to their estimates, 711.800 deaths from heart disease occurred at a time –or 10,3% of all deaths from heart in the world – due to the reduced intake of good fats, known as omega-3 and omega-6. By comparison, only 1/3 of this number -250.900 deaths or 3.6% from the deaths due to heart in the world – was due to the intake of saturated fats. All in all, the researchers found, also, that 537.200 deaths in 2010 were attributable to excessive consumption of trans fatty acids from processed foods in some countries.

The positive is, of course, that from 1990 to 2010, deaths from heart, due to reduced intake of good fats, have been reduced by 9%. The reduction, however, in connection with the intake of saturated fats is small, after deaths from heart disease due to excessive intake of saturated fats, decreased by 21%. In the same period, deaths from heart disease due to the high consumption of trans fats increased by 4%.
This needs to be understood, according to experts, is that the benefits are many when someone, for example, instead of 2 slices of bread, one consumes a half-slice and a lot of olive oil or nuts. We all need to increase the good fats in their diet,replacing –ideally – animal fats and carbohydrates.

So, put a good fish, nuts, flaxseed, and vegetable oils in your diet and familiarize yourself with the exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, erasing once and for always the cigarette for a more healthy heart, which will not betray you.
