The ultraviolet radiation is the main exogenous factor in aging of the skin. The right diet can not only improve health, but also to contribute to the sun protection!

Trace elements. Of the trace elements, zinc and selenium contribute to the maintenance of the collagen and elastin of the skin, while at the same time reduce the destructive effect of ultraviolet radiation. Foods: shellfish, red meat, legumes, seafood, liver.
Antioxidants. Antioxidant substances such as flavonoids and lycopene eliminate free radicals and fortify the skin against the damaging effect of the sun. Foods: strawberries, grapes, broccoli, tea, red wine (flavonoids), tomatoes, apricots, watermelon, melon (lycopene).
Omega-3 fatty acids. With the anti-inflammatory action helps our skin to remain smooth, shiny and vibrant. Foods: fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, herring, mackerel, anchovy, sardines, tuna and cod), nuts and flaxseed.
