The inclusion of the procurement of police equipment in the Operational Programme of the Region of Sterea ellada, announced today the Governor of Kostas Bakogiannis.
Mr. Bakogiannis presented details of the procurement, budget 2.011.500 euro. With the aim of improving the safety of use of the road network in Central Greece by the citizens, bystanders and visitors.
The supply includes:
16 Police Cars type SUV official coloring
5 motor vehicles for the transport of fewer than 10 persons
2 Crane and dumper trucks
42 Police cars service and free coloring
65 Wireless transceivers car
10 Portable radar
“We are helping the Greek Police to help us. We make a great effort for our road network which is based on two axes. The first relates to the repair, maintenance and modernisation. The second relates to the safety of travel and supervision. The picture of the instruments they have at their disposal the police to do their job, you see, you don’t need to comment on it. Every day the same complain of the lack of obvious for them to be able to cope with the service tasks. That’s what we did, we went after the obvious. We ran to obtain resources that will allow them to do the work that we are all of us who daily use the streets of Central Greece”, he said in his statements mr Bakogiannis.
