The Region of Western Greece had progressed in a timely manner the procedures, however, on the basis of the amendments imposed by the Law 4386/2016 voted recently, it is required to restart the process of setting up the ΠΣΕΚ.
The 11th meeting of the Body will be Monday June 27, 2016 at 3 pm.m. in Patras, in the hall of the Regional Council on the ground floor of the building of the Region of Western Greece (N.E.The. Patron – Athinon 32 & Amerikis).
“Our Region has set it as focus of priorities of interconnection of research and innovation with entrepreneurship. So through the Regional Operational Programme for the Programming Period 2014-2020, as well as the Five-year Operational Planning, in conjunction with the formulation of a Regional Strategy for Smart Specialisation (RIS3), for the Region of Western Greece the research, technological development and innovation is one of the main pillars in the support of local entrepreneurship in the primary sector and, more generally, of the regional and national economy,” stressed the district chief Apostle ΚατσιφάÏας.
Among the topics on the agenda is the adoption of the mode of implementation of the project “Rehabilitation, and Patency of the 15 Provincial Road in place ΚαστανόÏεμα” and the recruitment of people with a private law employment contract fixed-term to address temporary needs in the Regional Units of Aitoloakarnania and Achaia.
