Rise of 6.4% achieved by the total sales of new cars in our country in 2015, compared with 2014.
This percentage can be much less than that provided for by the companies operating in the market, but in the final it is with considerable satisfaction and relief, they saw the positive sign, in a year that the new Government αμφιταλαντεÏονταν between obsessions and reality, bringing you closer than ever to have a GRexit. And all of this when in 2015 were held three elections.
Can the market to wait for much bigger sales, because of the very good tourist year, and the inelastic need of the Greeks, who have in their hands the old and damaged cars, but in the end, the relief is evident.
CHAMPIONS
Of the performance of the companies, Toyota emerged for yet another year Champ, the Toyota Yaris is the number one selling car for 2015. Impressive was the path of the Peugeot which went up 10 (!) positions in relation to the sales of 2014, and the premium chips with the Volvo, Mercedes, Audi and BMW to show a significant rise in 2015 compared with 2014.
In fact, the German automaker won an impressive share of 4.7%, entering in the top 10 of sales (specifically, ninth place), while the Swedish brand has made the largest share of which has never conquered in our country, while noting the fifth consecutive year of growth, both in market share and number of sales. In terms of the categories on premium brands, in πεντάθυÏα hatch, the V40 and V40 Cross Country found at the top of the sales 1.543 classifications. In the medium-large SUV, the XC60 ranked first, while the flagship of the Swedish brand, the all-new XC90 – in less than six months of presence in Greece in 2015 – won first place in its class.
AREAS
In relation to which areas were sold more cars, something that essentially works as a mirror for the economic situation of each region of Greece, in Attica are almost 60% of sales of new cars and because of the many corporate sales, which represent almost 50% of the total. It is characteristic that in December of 6.816 new cars sold in the 4.810 was in Attica…
In terms of predictions about 2016, there is optimism that it will increase even more the sales, with executives in the market to make reason still, and 90,000 sales. All this, of course, it is sufficient to open the faucet of funding, from the ανακεφαλαιωμÎνες –most – banks.
