The Bulgarians finished the story of the Session of Crete-decisions of The Meeting

The step-by-STEP ORTHODOXY here, and some days has informed on the decision of the Bulgarian Church not to recognize the …
Session of Crete, causing an earthquake of many on the Richter scale in the ecclesiastical scene. Also mentioned that the decisions of the Bulgarian Synod had been sent via letter and the Archbishop Ieronymos before the meeting of the Hierarchy of the Hellenic Church. Today we are in a position to know exactly what had been decided by the Bulgarians..
The Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Bulgaria, therefore, at its meeting on 15 November 2016 came to the following conclusions:
“The Synod of Crete, it is neither Great, nor Universal
1.Due to the non-participation of a series of Autocephalous Orthodox Churches, but also because of the organic and theological errors. However, we respect and appreciate the efforts of all organizers and participants for the implementation.
2. The careful examination of the documents adopted by the Σ’υνοδο of Crete, leads us to the conclusion that some of them contain contradictions with what the Orthodox Church teaches and with the dogmatic and canonical tradition of the Church and with the spirit and letter of the Ecumenical and Local Synods.
3. Adopted by the Session, the documents of Crete with prejudice for further theological discussion with the aim of improving the treatment, correction, or replacement with other (new documents) in accordance with the spirit and tradition of the Church.
The BOC-BP (Bulgarian church) is an integral part, a living member of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. As part of the Body of Christ , the BOC will continue to be in brotherly eucharistic, spiritual, doctrinal and canonical communion with all other local orthodox churches – and those present at the Summit of the Crete, as well as with non-participants. The Church is not a secular organization, it is θεανθρώπινος agency. Is not affected and should not be affected by political and social interests and the respective differences. The head is the Lord himself, Jesus Christ, who is “the way and the Truth and the Life.”
The principles of αυτοκεφαλίας and universality in the church life, not only έρχοντται in contrast, but complement one another, resulting one from the other and it is in full unity”.
It is understood that these decisions have overarching importance for the whole of Orthodoxy and would be good to take into account and the ΕλλαδικηΕκκλησία that it is being carried out with the “μέλέτη” of the texts of the Πανορθόδοξης and is preparing, as announced yesterday to issue a circular to the people.
The Bulgarian Synod focused on the text, “The relations of the Orthodox Church with the rest of Christendom,” and has made specific comments αλλααυτές will see in tomorrow’s article….
