The reason for the outfits they wear, the athletes of Cuba in the Olympic Games of Rio, and which is designed by Christian Louboutin.
The well-known French shoe designer, his creations which are worn by the biggest stars -and not only – around the planet, joined forces with Henri Tai, founder of the sports e-shop Sporty -, to create the uniforms of the Olympic Team of Cuba, and the result is, admittedly, impressive.

A key “piece” of the uniform is the military jacket, red, or beige color, with the flag of Cuba in the pocket of the breast. The women athletes are wearing sandals with a low heel and their male colleagues shoes sneakers, and the two in the colors of the cuban flag. And of course, they all have a red sole, trademark of the French designer. 
These uniforms will be worn in both the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games, but also in every official appearance of Cubans outside the football field.
“In the Olympics, the athletes, they give you the feeling that they put on a uniform and turned into these superheroes that defy gravity, defy time, defy every law of Physics. We designed the uniforms for the moments that you will re-people, but being still in a moment of glory, while back in the real world. We want to continue to feel only the time that look really great,” said Louboutin. 
“The clothes have to fit perfectly with the amazing athletic bodies. Our goal was to make it look like cut and sewn for the individual athlete,” he said, for his part, Henri Tai, a veteran player of handball and “partner” of the French designer in the creation of the uniforms.
