The President of the Cyprus Animal Party Kyriakos Kyriakou met on Friday with Giannis Armitis, who announced his intention to run for the Limassol mayor ship. During the meeting, Mr. Armitis presented to the President of the party his vision for Limassol and how to implement the aims and objectives of this vision.
As stated in a party announcement, President informed Mr. Armitis about the issues of concern to the party over time with regard to the city and province of Limassol and to this end handed him twenty points (proposals) “hoping that if and if there is agreement then these points (proposals) will be incorporated into the election programme of the candidate Mayor”. It is added that one of the party’s hot demands is the closure of the zoo, which presents a number of serious problems for both the zoo itself and the animals themselves in terms of their welfare and welfare.
