the magazine Hypervocal and, in turn, the Huffington Post and it really reminds me of a movie. Specifically, the P.S I love you…
On the occasion of Valentine’s day is approaching, Sue Johnston made known to him her own love story…
“Me and my sweet husband, John, were married for 46 years. Every year on Valentine’s day, sent me the most beautiful flowers along with a note which contained five simple words: “my love for you grows”. Four children, 46 bouquets and a lifetime of love, was the legacy he left me when he died two years ago,” says the 68-year-old Sue Johnston, and then reveals the rest of the personal story that makes many wonder if they have ever known true love.
“The first time on Valentine’s day that I’m alone, ten months after I lost him, I was shocked when I received an amazing bouquet of flower, which would send me… John! Angry and hurt, I called the florist to tell them that they had done wrong. The florist replied, “No, ma’am. It’s not a mistake. Before he died, your husband prepaid for sending bouquets for many years and asked us to guarantee that you continue to receive bouquets every February 14”. With my heart about to break, I hung up the phone and I read the card: “my love for you is eternal”.
