Tatoi: Actors and Director Face Charges for Firing Blank Weapon

in

At midnight on Saturday, residents of Tatoi called the police, reporting gunshots and flashes. In reality, as it turned out, these were film shoot activities for a short movie. The residents told the officers, “Someone is being killed here,” as they also heard cries of pain. When the police arrived at the scene, they encountered two men, one holding a weapon. The officers warned him to drop it and subsequently detained both individuals. According to Star, the men explained to the police that one was a director and the other an actor filming a short movie. It was confirmed that the fake weapon was actually a blank-firing prop. Both men were taken to the Menidi Police Department and later to the prosecutor. Reports indicate that they lacked permits for the film and the blank-firing weapon. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled so they can provide further explanations.
