Tata Martino quits as Inter Miami coach

Lionel Messi’s team is now looking for a new coach. According to reports from the last few hours from the United States, Tata Martino will resign from coaching in Inter Miami. Some of them speak for personal reasons, while most say he is charged with excluding the group from round 1 of MLS playoffs. Tata Martino took over in July 2023 (in place of Phil Neville) and had 35 wins, 16 losses and 16 draws in MLS. The team that has Messi, Suarez, Bushketch, Alba on its roster entered as a favourite in the playoffs but Atlanta left it in addition to round 1. Former Barcelona and Mexico coach will speak to the media at a final press conference Friday, November 22, along with co-owner Georgeus.
